How to Become a Riverview School District Volunteer
We enjoy having visitors and volunteers in our schools and invite parents and caretakers to be actively involved in our classrooms. The Riverview School District depends on volunteers and values their contributions. We care about the safety of staff and children, so all prospective volunteers must apply and be approved before they can begin volunteering in Riverview.
Application Process
All volunteers are required to complete the online application, which includes a disclosure statement, review of policies and procedures, and submission of picture identification. This information is used to perform a background check through Washington State Patrol. In addition, all volunteers are required to review the volunteer handbook prior to their first day of volunteering.
